Booooooom.com is partnering with the Vancouver Sun to inspire a lil' bit of cuteness and summertime goodness. Be a part of the Little Drifters project by creating a tiny boat using natural materials like twigs, leaves, grass, feathers or whatever you like. Then head down to Trout Lake Park on Saturday July 24th at 1pm to launch your creations! Send your photos of your boat launch in to Booooooom. I have just two words for these pillows by Donna Wilson : FUN and FABULOUS. Donna Wilson makes a ton of cute things including blankets, ceramics , and softies ( Charlie the tall monkey and Cyril the squirrel fox are great!) and more. She also recently created a maze using thousands of strands of yarn ! Now that's a place I'd happily get lost in. (via Shayo )

The video for Josh Ritter's song, "The Curse", was created by the band's drummer, Liam Hurley , who also happens to be a puppeteer. Multi-talented! It's no secret that I have a soft spot for the ukulele. It's small, it's cute, it's Hawaiian. What's not to love? It'd be harder to make the uke any cuter. OK, maybe if the ukuleles were miniature and being played by tiny amigurumi animals... THEN the humble uke could be unequivocally declared to be the Cute Overload of musical instruments. Oh. Wait.
